Born in Brighton, England and now hailing from Western Canada, Phontaine released 'aqui' in late 2001 under the name 'earball'. The appeal of the album reached all over the globe. 'I just tried to make something familiar but fresh, something I'd like to listen to'. Phontaine doesn't take a conventional approach to creating music, ' I don't listen to music as most people do, I've always absorbed tones and timbres before notes and arrangement. I blend instruments, ambience and sounds and maintain the sonic quality of their era. I hope this brings a sense of nostalgia to the listener.' 'It's electronic music for sure, but less abrasive than alot of the stuff out there, I want it to sound as warm and authentic as possible, like warm 70's electronic music but with some new modern tones mixed in.' After the indie success of 'aqui', Phontaine had songs released on the compilations 'Blue Light One' (Upstairs Recordings/Nettwerk) and 'Global Groove'(Sugo Music) alongside Thievery Corporation. I worked with some amazing musicians on this album, Nadia Clark (vocals) Ben Karcz and Chris Ledrew (Percussion) and Rob Johnson (stand-up bass). Without them this disc would not have such great 'humonic' feel. I also did alot of field recordings when traveling that I mixed in to certain tracks, it can add an amazing depth to a song. His tracks can also be heard on film and T.V (The O.C,Sacred Planet IMAX,Las Vegas, Tru Calling, Windfall).

Raw Electric Blues in a 'Steppenwolfish' style. Actually, Dustbin's deep, rasp voice sounds alot like John Kay. Prior to releasing 'Lil' Blues Riff', Dustbin's material held some respectable positions on BeSonic.com (#1 and 2) and MP3.com (#12). Lil' Blues Riff has received airplay from Chicago to the San Francisco Bay area. Dustbin recalls, 'My son had a song that he recorded in a kind of folk/rock style (Wil Stone Project). I asked him if I could record it too? He say OK, but was surprised to find I changed the feel. We were both surprised when it got more air play than the title track......oh well' Dustbin's music has a unique mood.

Alot of people ask me, 'How do you write a song?' There is not ever going to be a clear answer to this... If you write music, you understand what I mean. It's a random thing. I remember several times writing songs at school, and having to ask for a pass to go the bathroom so I could write them down. Haha! If I hadn't I would've forgotten! Other times I've woken up from dreams in the middle of the night, and wrote about the things I saw. All I know is when I get that feeling of inspiration I write on whatever is near me. A napkin, a scrap of paper, my Arm! But you can't write a good song when you try. You just have to let God take your pen... He always tells me 'Trannie I've got a good idea for a perfect song! Get that pen over there, and start writin this stuff down hun.' So there is my highly intelligent answer for the unexplainable question! I hope you enjoy my music, and I hope you're truly blessed!

This Accoustic Album includes eight original songs that were written by Craig A. Willis (listen to song samples). Craig included 'Falling Out Of Love' which is one of his favorite songs by John Denver and 'Darcy Farrow' written by Gillette and Campbell. Craig is a member of ASCAP and has over two dozen music and lyric credits that are sure to please every listener. His band, The C.A.Willis Band is an up and coming HOT COUNTRY performing act. They perform all of his original songs as well as songs by some of country's greatest stars of today and yesterday. Craig wrote WAYLON, WILLIE AND KRIS as a tribute to the great Waylon Jennings as well as some of the heros of COUNTRY MUSIC such as Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and many others. Craig has been deeply imbedded in country music all of his life. Spending time at his grandma's house he heard it nearly everyday of his life. 'It's all we listened to at home', said Craig, 'and I have learned not only to love to listen, but to play and sing because of it.' Craig was one of John Denver's greatest fans. Even his desktop background is a tribute to this great performer. With over five hundred songs to his credit from writing and performing, John Denver made an impact upon the music world and upon Craig A. Willis. THE LIFE HE CHOSE is a simple statement about the decisions that everyone make for their lives. Growing up in the midwest, Craig is very aware of the plight of farming families and the great tradition they have shared over countless generations to pass down and hold on to the family farms. He has seen the love for the land and their dedication to that love. This song is dedicated to that spirit and love. For Father's Day, Craig wrote and performed THE SECOND OF for his dad. 'Often times it's not finding it hard to say things to your dad,' Craig said, 'but knowing how to say what you feel. This song is straight from the heart about how important my dad has been to me through the years.' And, it is evident that it is truly from the heart. LITTLE ONE was written with a coworker in mind. The thought was suggested to him by the young woman who was preparing to have her first baby. This lullaby has attracted alot of attention for his beauty and simplicity. The words are certain to warm the heart. Craig wrote DO YOU BELIEVE, the title track of this album as a love ballad. It has pleased fans everywhere. The message it delivers means so many things to so many different people, it is a MUST HAVE selection to any music collection. COWBOY'S DREAM is just that. What every cowboy dreams of, his special cowgirl. One of the most fascinating things about this song is the attention that it has drawn from children. One fan reported that his two year old insists upon hearing the song over and over in the car and that the sentiment was mirrored by his four and six year old. He said that he must have heard it over a dozen times, at their request, when picking them up from daycare and school. WHO ARE YOU DREAMING OF is about the thoughts one has when seeing their soul mate sleeping. Wondering if her dreams are the same, and if they are shared. This album is a great collector's piece and will most certainly be followed by many other albums from this new rising star.

The new album from A.Harrison has took around a year in the making and is well worth the wait. Focused around tales inspired by the freeway killer William Bonin and other such people 'A Good Little Nightmare' is not always the easiest of listens and is a much harder album in comparison to the last album 'Stretched Gold Polymer' a tale of love, drugs and loss. Alot more guitars a fair bit of shouting and aggression but also some really beautiful melodic passages to break up the darkness. Recorded mainly alone in contrast to the last album which was mainly recorded with past collaborator Tom Brown.

This album was recorded in Butte, Montana and took about 10 months to finish. The songs come from alot of Montana influence and experiences. Although guitar and lyric oriented, the songs also have a mixture of trumpet, mandolin, harmonica, and percussion that make up a unique strain of rock and roll. Enjoy!!
