--Operating in the space between a regulatory cosmos and the chaos of life, spoken language and its written notation unfold in different directions. Proceeding from the digital as a seemingly universal notational substrate, the first volume of Das Neue Alphabet (The New Alphabet) series tracks the interplay between these two tendencies by looking at a series of examples: the relationship between binary code and Leibniz's philosophy of Monadology, the technological and cosmological aspects of non Western writing systems, which are antithetical to a monolithic understanding of language, and the power of the Alphabet Song to teach children the alphabet, its ordering principle cloaked in poetic form. The texts are accompa nied by images created by artist Wolfgang Tillmans.

1990 erschien LECTION. Olaf Nicolai's first publication, LECTION: Materialien, fundstücke, was brought out in 1990. Since then, his publishing work, extending from artist's books and catalogues to printed ephemera-such as postcards, stickers, and posters-has been an essential aspect of his artistic practice. This publication provides the first comprehensive survey of his artist's books and printed matter, taking as its starting point an exhibition at the Institut Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt in which Nicolai translated seventeen publications into installations, generating a richly textured interaction between the space of the book page and the exhibition environment. It presents the various ways in which the book medium is used in Nicolai's work and examines his handling of notational and presentational forms in scientific, musical, and experimental literature as he switches back and forth between research and fictional improvisation. The book also delineates the constellations he sets up in order to involve authors, designers, and publishers in the production process, not only giving the printed work concrete expression as a physical object but also specifying its mode of distribution and its manifestation in the world. Olaf Nicolai (b. 1962 Halle/Saale) is a visual artist based in Berlin. Since 2011 he has been a professor of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts (AdBK) in Munich.

C++ was created as a superset of C, retaining C's efficiency and notational ease but adding type checking, data abstraction, operator overloading, and object-oriented programming capabilities. C++ is still a popular programming language because of its versatility. Unlike most other programming languages, C++ has been able to adapt as its demands have changed, allowing it to remain relevant, contemporary, and essential. C++, unlike other languages, is flexible and has evolved quickly to meet the demands of programmers and software. It is now one of the most excellent options for rapid applications, with alternatives such as Rust or Perl severely missing ecosystem support for many use cases. More important, C++ is a programming language with varied uses. Knowing how to write code in C++ can help you understand how software and hardware interact. This is valuable information to have regardless of which path you take in technology. If you want to work in technology, C++ is an excellent language to learn. In this book, you will discover a brief introduction to C++, memory management, C++ functions, preprocessing and compilation, coroutines, and lazy generators. Mastering C++ Programming Language: A Beginner's Guide sets the standard for C++ learning while solving the problems given in a typical C++ scenario. This book explores the design, portability, and efficiency of C++ applications in the real world. Mastering C++ Programming Language offers an outstanding supply of tested, usable, and documented C++ code by providing complete, functional solutions to each problem and paying close attention to efficiency and portability. As a beginner's guide, Mastering C++ Programming Language contains several examples and substantial code to aid all programmers who wish to expand their C++ language skills. As a result, Mastering C++ Programming Language offers at-length reading for students and professionals interested in the most recent advances in C++. It includes models that are particularly useful for individuals studying the language on their own. Plus, it also discusses the recent updates to the C++ language by comparing different versions and the various standards that are currently in use. Mastering C++ Programming Language is an ideal beginner's companion for learning the fantastic programming language that is C++. What makes a piece of music difficult? This album introduces a pair of riveting, technically ambitious, historically important, and never-before-recorded polyphonic masses of the fifteenth century, performed by an ensemble that has developed a new approach designed to honor the music's variety and unflagging intensity. Both works stand out for their notational complexity.
