Die Ruyter’s Bin Weine aus Südafrika erinnern an den Bremer Weinkaufmann Ruyter, der sich schon in den ersten Jahrzehnten des vorherigen Jahrhunderts auf die Einfuhr überseeischer Weine verlegt hatte – lange bevor die »Neue Weinwelt« in Europa von sich reden machte. Die von Ruyter bei den südafrikanischen Winzern ausgesuchten Weinpartien wurden für ihn reserviert und separat gelagert, eben in »Ruyter’s Bin«. Mit »Bin« bezeichnet man im südafrikanischen Weinbau ein Fass oder eine Partie Wein. Wie bereits in unserem Ruyter's Bin »1889« Red, zeigt sich auch in dieser ebenbürtigen Weißwein-Cuvée aus Sauvignon Blanc und Semillon die französische Inspiration. Die Reben gedeihen in einer für südafrikanische Verhältnisse ausgesprochen kühlen Gegend. Die daraus resultierende lange Vegetationsphase führt zu einer knackigen Frische gepaart mit einer perfekten Reife und eindrucksvollen Komplexität der Trauben! Frische, rassige Noten des Sauvignon Blanc wie Litschi, Ananas und verführerische Zitrusaromen harmonieren mit feinem Schmelz und angenehmer Cremigkeit der Semillon-Traube. Im Geschmack geben exotische Früchte, reife Äpfel, Birnen und eine leichte Mineralik den Ton an. Der lange Nachhall ist voll und präzise - probieren Sie diesen Geniestreich.
