Am Gaumen ist er charmant und raffiniert. Der Les Beauroys zeigt eine feine Mineralität, begleitet von angenehmer Frucht. Im Nachhall erweist er sich elegant und langanhaltend. Die traditionsreichen Weine der Domaine Laroche gehören ohne Frage zu den Besten, die das Chablis zu bieten hat. Jahrhunderts nämlich erblickte genau hier, in den Kellern des Klosters L'Obédiencerie, der erste Chablis das Licht der Welt.  Dieser Premier Cru Wein wird mit höchster Sorgfalt vinifiziert und Laroche zeigt mit diesem Ausnahme-Wein einmal mehr, dass die Domaine auf beiden Seiten des Serein zu den absoluten Spitzenreitern der Region gehört. Die Weinberge liegen mit südlicher Ausrichtung kurz vor der Stadt Chablis. Die Böden sind besonders kalkhaltig und verleihen den Weinen der Domaine Laroche ihre eleganten und mineralischen Züge.
