Ce livre présente et décrit les discours de jeunes hommes et femmes de Tinguiña dans des contextes sociaux (amis, famille, relations amoureuses, pairs, etc.) dans le but d'analyser les visions et les perceptions des masculinités dans le district de La Tinguiña, en considérant le scénario de l'égalité des sexes et en tenant compte des six dimensions de l'échelle GEM Gender Equitable Attitudes Scale.La méthodologie utilisée a été au niveau de la collecte des données primaires : l'autoethnographie et l'analyse du discours, la première s'est faite par narration libre, dans le cas de la seconde la technique de l'entretien structuré a été utilisée, ce qui nous a permis d'analyser les discours, ainsi que les données secondaires, qui ont considéré la collecte de rapports, d'études et de rapports sur l'égalité des sexes.
