    Chemische Zusammensetzung der ätherischen Öle jemenitischer Pflanzen
    Heilpflanzen sind eine wichtige Quelle für bioaktive Substanzen. Die jemenitische Flora ist sehr reich an Heilpflanzen, die zur Behandlung verschiedener Krankheiten verwendet werden. Im Rahmen der Aufwertung der jemenitischen Heilpflanzen haben wir an eine phyto-pharmakologische Studie von drei Heilpflanzen gedacht, nämlich Tarchonanthus camphorates, Pulicaria jaubertii und Plectranthus montanus Benth. Die geplanten Ziele sind die chemische Charakterisierung der ätherischen Öle der drei untersuchten Pflanzen und die Untersuchung ihrer antibakteriellen und antioxidativen Aktivität. Die ätherischen Öle werden durch Hydrodestillation und Wasserdampfdestillation extrahiert. Die chemische Zusammensetzung der ätherischen Öle wird durch die Kopplung von Gaschromatographie und Massenspektrometrie (GC/MS) bestimmt. Die antibakterielle Aktivität wird gegen vier Referenzstämme unter Verwendung der Mikroverdünnungsmethode auf Mikrotiterplatten getestet. Die antioxidative Wirkung wird anhand der Fähigkeit der Öle, das DPPH-Radikal abzufangen, geschätzt. Ätherische Öle sind reich an phenolischen Verbindungen.

No âmbito da valorização das plantas medicinais iemenitas, pensámos num estudo fitofarmacológico de três plantas medicinais: Tarchonanthus camphorates, Pulicaria jaubertii e Plectranthus montanus Benth. Os objectivos previstos são a caracterização química dos óleos essenciais das três plantas estudadas e o estudo da sua actividade antibacteriana e antioxidante. Os óleos essenciais são extraídos por hidrodistilação e destilação a vapor. A composição química dos óleos essenciais é determinada por cromatografia de gás de acoplamento e espectrometria de massa (GC/MS). A actividade antibacteriana é testada contra quatro estirpes de referência utilizando o método de diluição em microplaca. O poder antioxidante é estimado pela capacidade dos óleos de reter o radical DPPH. Os óleos essenciais são ricos em compostos fenólicos.

Nel quadro della valorizzazione delle piante medicinali yemenite, abbiamo pensato ad uno studio fito-farmacologico di tre piante medicinali e cioè Tarchonanthus camphorates, Pulicaria jaubertii e Plectranthus montanus Benth. Gli obiettivi previsti sono la caratterizzazione chimica degli oli essenziali delle tre piante studiate e lo studio della loro attività antibatterica e antiossidante. Gli oli essenziali sono estratti per idrodistillazione e distillazione a vapore. La composizione chimica degli oli essenziali è determinata dall'accoppiamento della gascromatografia e della spettrometria di massa (GC/MS). L'attività antibatterica è stata testata contro quattro ceppi di riferimento utilizzando il metodo di diluizione su micropiastra. Il potere antiossidante è stimato dalla capacità degli oli di intrappolare il radicale DPPH. Gli oli essenziali sono ricchi di composti fenolici.

    Chemical composition of essential oils of Yemeni plants
    Medicinal plants are an important source of bioactive substances. The Yemeni flora is very rich in medicinal plants which are used to treat different diseases. In the framework of the valorization of Yemeni medicinal plants, we thought of a phyto-pharmacological study of three medicinal plants namely Tarchonanthus camphorates, Pulicaria jaubertii and Plectranthus montanus Benth. The objectives envisaged are the chemical characterization of the essential oils of the three studied plants and the study of their antibacterial and antioxidant activity. The essential oils are extracted by hydrodistillation and steam distillation. The chemical composition of the essential oils is determined by coupling gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The antibacterial activity is tested against four reference strains using the micro-dilution method on microplate. The antioxidant power is estimated by the capacity of the oils to trap the DPPH radical. Essential oils are rich in phenolic compounds.
