Wie funktioniert ein Schlauchreifen mit Drahtreifen-Eigenschaften? Wenn Sie aufgepumpt sind, dann wird der Schlauchreifen Clincher (siehe Abbildung) genauso wie ein reiner Schlauchreifen gegen die Felge gedrückt. Auch wenn der Felgenhersteller angibt, dass mit weniger Druck gefahren werden soll - der Luftdruck befindet sich bei dieser Art von Reifen allein im Bereich des Schlauchreifens und wirkt sich während der Fahrt nicht auf die Felgenränder aus. Gleichzeitig wird auch die Fahrqualität erhöht, schließlich fahren Sie ja auf Schlauchreifen! Auch das Handling im Falle einer Panne bleibt sicher und die Stabilität wird nicht negativ beeinflusst.
