It’s 2012 and what happened in 2008 at the controversial Erotic City swingers club in Atlanta is a distant memory. Now, with a second club located in Miami, Milan Kennedy and her heavyweight boxer husband, Lavender Lewis, have moved to Miami to raise his son. Lavender’s loony baby’s-mama is serving time in prison for the attempted murder of Milan. For now all seems quiet - that is until Milan and Lavender are served child custody papers, and also, a test of fidelity arises just as the couple plans to add to their family, and expand their thriving business. Milan questions the very meaning of the lifestyle itself, and doubts the purpose of her own career as a swinger’s club owner, providing significant others a playground for fornication. Big Booty Trudy, Tamiko Kennedy, Jarod Hamilton, and Nancy Clark Kennedy all return, and a couple of freaky additions are added to the mix. The newest location, Erotic City: Miami, is a huge success, but at what cost? Will the wife-swapping lifestyle change Milan and Lavender forever? Or will they survive the very temptations that their own sex business brings? ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Paula Jai Parker-Martin. Harry Flashman: the unrepentant bully of Tom Brown's schooldays, now with a Victoria Cross, has three main talents - horsemanship, facility with foreign languages, and fornication. A reluctant military hero, Flashman plays a key part in most of the defining military campaigns of the 19th century, despite trying his utmost to escape them all. 'When all other trusts fail, turn to Flashman'. (Abraham Lincoln) In China in 1860, a lot of people mistakenly put their trust in Flashman: the English vicar's daughter with her cargo of opium; Lord Elgin in search of an intelligence chief; the emperor's ravishing concubine, seeking a champion in her struggles for power; and Szu-Zhan, the female bandit colossus, as practised in the art of love as in the art of war. They were not to know that behind his Victoria Cross, Harry Flashman was a base coward and a charlatan. They took him at face value. And he took them for all he could while China seethed through the bloodiest civil war in history and the British and French armies hacked their way to the heart of the Forbidden City.... ungekürzt. A reluctant military hero, Flashman plays a key part in most of the defining military campaigns of the 19th century, despite trying his utmost to escape them all. Many have marvelled at General Napier's daring 1868 expedition through the treacherous peaks and bottomless chasms of Abyssinia to rescue a small group of British citizens held captive by the mad tyrant Emperor Theodore. But the vital role of Sir Harry Flashman, V. C., in the success of this campaign has hitherto gone unrecorded. Flashman's undeserved reputation for heroism renders him the British army's candidate of choice when it comes to skulking behind enemy lines in Ali Baba attire. After all, who but the great amorist could contemplate navigating a land populated by hostile tribes and the loveliest (and most savage) women in Africa, from leather-clad nymphs with a penchant for torture to a voluptuous barbarian queen with a reputation for throwing disobliging guests to her pet lions? ungekürzt. We often hear stories of fallen pastors, in cases of fraudulence, adultery, fornication, child abuse, or divorce. Suicide also seems to be prevalent among pastors. Isolation, division, sickness, inability to provide for their families, unfruitful ministry, lack of souls won to the cross, and lack of spiritual fathering and mentoring can eventually lead to pastors walking away from their pulpits. Perhaps walking away defeated. Where will they go? What will they do? Will they recover? Will congregants care? Who prays for the pastor? The purpose of this book is to bring awareness of many things pastors experience on their journeys to answering the call of God to shepherd his people. To encourage pastors to connect with like-minded leaders for fellowship, accountability, and spiritual development. The author hopes that pastors will listen to the final words of this book and feel refreshed in knowing that God is the God of mercy and grace. This book will encourage you to pray that your pastor remains holy in the course of their assignment, fully understanding that God who gives vision also makes the provision. ungekürzt. A reluctant military hero, Flashman plays a key part in most of the defining military campaigns of the 19th century, despite trying his utmost to escape them all. Celebrated Victorian bounder, cad,and lecher, Sir Harry Flashman, VC, returns to play his (reluctant) part in the charge of the Light Brigade in this installment of the critically acclaimed Flashman Papers. As the British cavalry prepared to launch themselves against the Russian guns at Balaclava, Harry Flashman was petrified. But the Crimea was only the beginning: beyond lay the snowbound wastes of the great Russian slave empire, torture and death, headlong escapes from relentless enemies, savage tribal hordes to the right of him, passionate females to the left of him.... Then, finally, that unknown but desperate war on the roof of the world, when India was the prize, and there was nothing to stop the armed might of Imperial Russia but the wavering sabre and terrified ingenuity of old Flashman himself. ungekürzt. Abigail Accused steps into life in a small New England colony and reveals the callous truth of what has become one of many landmark cases against injustice during the Salem Witch Trials. Abigail Dane Faulkner, daughter of the town’s respected minister, was convicted of witchcraft in 1692 and condemned to die. Her story is based on eyewitness accounts and 17th-century documents. How did the people of Massachusetts Bay Colony become victims of the fear and religious fanaticism that led to the arrests of nearly 200 citizens and the executions of countless innocents? Why did Abigail's own family - her own daughters - testify against her? Mofford brings to life the dramatic realities of the period and the events of daily life along with events such as courtship, marriage, the sin of fornication, childbirth, poverty, and terrifying attacks by Native Americans upon this frontier community. Abigail’s abiding love for her husband, Francis Faulkner, sustained him through bouts of what we recognize today as PTSD. Abigail Accused is the historical revelation of how one wife and mother, alongside her minister father, fought bigotry and helped bring an end to the deadly witch hunts. Petitions by father and daughter are landmark documents of free speech and remind us all of the ongoing struggle for human rights. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Ruth Redman. A reluctant military hero, Flashman plays a key part in most of the defining military campaigns of the 19th century, despite trying his utmost to escape them all. Flash Harry is back! The first new Flashman novel since Flashman and the Angel of the Lord, this is the long-awaited new installment of the Flashman Papers. When Sir Harry Flashman, V. C., the celebrated Victorian soldier, scoundrel, amorist, and self-confessed poltroon's memoirs first came to light 30 years ago, the world was finally illuminated about what became of the celebrated cowardly bully from Tom Brown's schooldays. Now, in addition to the other famous adventures of Flash Harry contained in the Flashman Papers, come three new episodes in the career of this eminent if disreputable adventurer. The title piece touches on two of the most spectacular military actions of the century and sees Flashman pitted against one of the greatest villains of the day and observing, with his usual jaundiced eye, two of its most famous heroes. As always with George MacDonald Fraser, Flashman's adventures are related with verve, dash, and meticulous historical detail. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Colin Mace. This comprehensive novel consists of three subplots which interlink to form the whole and supply a trio of targets at which Trollope aims his proselytising pen. The first treats on the courtship of a woman by a man whom she does not love and with whom she is not compatible. Mary Lowther will not accept such a marriage of dishonesty. The second deals with the plight of a young woman who has fallen prey to the wiles of an evil seducer and subsequently adopts a life of prostitution. Trollope's argument was that the punishment for fornication was much harsher for women than men, although in most cases the latter were more to blame, and their victims were given no opportunity of returning to decent lives no matter how repentant they may have been. The third subject to receive the benefit of the author's moral outrage is the hypocrisy and narrow vision of the landed gentry in the person of the Marquis of Trowbridge, who treats his tenants as serfs and whose social code appears to be 'might is right'. The common sense of the pragmatic protagonist, Frank Fenwick, apparently very like Trollope himself, is a joy to hear. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Peter Newcombe Joyce. Hot flings at a seedy truck stop. Homemade glory holes in the stall walls of a dorm shower. Fun and fornication at an infamous park. Steamy bathhouse trysts and other tales of public eroticism is what Cruising is all about. As Shane Allison says, "This is the anthology I have dreamed of doing for years. There's nothing that gets the adrenaline flowing and the muscles throbbing like public sex." Filled with hot plots and even hotter characters, Cruising doesn't shy away from new erotic territory and includes several true confessions, including those of the editor himself. As with all of Allison's sexy compilations, creativity and diversity of story lines are key, along with the fun factor that is the hallmark of Allison's anthologies. "One Hot Baby" by Daniel Curzonperson is a wryly sweet short about an aging straight guy who stops to pee in a park and gets an unexpected blow job, which lifts his spirits. A fierce black queen enjoys some of "New York's Phynest" in an "arresting" erotic encounter with a hot Dominican cop in Donald Peebles Jr.'s surprise-filled story; while the narrator of Rob Rosen's "Small Town Blues" gets horny in the sticks, hits on a young Indian immigrant clerk in the jiffy mart, and discovers that the hicks are up for group action anytime and anywhere. Cruising moves at the highest speed and is filled with kink, sex toys, exotic locations, wild scenarios, and plenty of sexual intensity. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Luke Avery.
