    Wir freuen uns sehr, in diesem Jahr mit dem Filmtheater Schauburg einen spannenden Ort fürs Music Match 2022 gefunden zu haben. Das altehrwürdige Haus mitten im urbanen Herzen der Dresdenr Neustadt zählt zu den besten Programmkinos dieses Landes und kann mit 5 unterschiedlich großen Sälen und einer Openair-Kino-Fläche aufwarten. Nachdem die Schauburg im ersten Corona-Sommer 2020 den Hof der scheune zwei Monate lang zum Freiluftkino umfunktionierte, verwandeln wir das Kinos nun für zwei Tage temporär zu einem Konferenzzentrum inklusive kleinem Musiktheaters am Abend, wo ihr zwei erstklassige Liveshowcases erleben könnt. Freut euch am Freitag auf ein hochkarätiges Showcase zweier kurdischer Künstlerinnen, die Tradition und Moderne jeweils auf ihre eigene Art und Weise in Einklang bringen. Bühne frei für:Derya YildirimDie Hamburgerin Derya Yildirim ist seit einigen Jahren die Speerspitze des türkischeneuropäischen Crossover. Die Sängerin und Multi-Instrumentalistin erlernte von Kindesbeinen an Klavier, Gitarre, Ud, Saxofon und Baglama. Von 2013 bis 2016 studierte sie an der Hamburger Musikhochschule und setzte ihr Studium im Fach Baglama bei Taner Akyol an der Universität der Künste in Berlin fort. Sie arrangiert die reiche traditionelle türkische Poesie immer weider neu und führt sie in die Zukunft, ohne dabei das Bewusstsein für die Vergangenheit zu verlieren.Derya Yildirim widmet sich für ihr Solo-Set noch stärker dem anatolischen Folk. Mit der türkischen Laute Baglama und ihrer vielschichtig resonierenden Stimme zieht sie die Zuhörer in die Welt der melancholischen Klänge. Sie agiert in verschiedensten Konstellationen und Projekten wie zum Beispiel der international besetzten türkisch-psychedelischen Volksmusik Band: ?Derya Yildirim & Grup Simsek?. Sie veröffentlichten zwei Jahre nach dem Erfolg der Ep ?Nem Kaldi? nun ihr erstes Debüt Album ?Kar Yaglar? (Es schneit). Die Symbiose aus anatolischer Volksmusik, modernen Grooves und Andeutungen von Psychedelia, Jazz und Funk wurde bereits als ?neue deutsch-anatolische Psycho-Pop-Sensation? gefeiert (Junge Welt).Wir freuen uns darauf, mit ihrem Auftritt im Rahmen von Music Match 2022, ein Tor zu bislang hier eher ungewohnten musikalischen Gefilden zu öffnen. Freut euch auf einen spannenden Brückenschlag zwischen traditioneller anatrolischer Musik und Popkultur. EvînEvîn ist Sängerin, Songwriterin und Produzentin. Ihre Musik verbindet R&B, Soul und ihre orientalischen Wurzeln mit melancholischen Stimmungen, manchmal beatlastig, manchmal getragen und atmosphärisch. Inspiriert ist sie von Künstler*Innen wie James Blake, Rosalía, Jorja Smith, FKA Twigs und Sufjan Stevens. Ihre Songs, die sie seit 2020 gemeinsam mit ihrem Team, bestehend aus Karl Kindermann und Jako veröffentlicht, erzählen Geschichten von Selbstzweifel, Stärke und Hoffnung.Geboren 1995 in Bochum, wuchs Evîn als Tochter von lasischen und kurdischen Einwanderern auf. Aufgrund der politisch-journalistischen Aktivitäten ihres Vaters, hauptsächlich für die Rechte der kurdischen und alevitischen Bevölkerung in der Türkei, stellte sich bei Evîn schon frühzeitig ein politisches Bewusstsein ein. So tauchen in ihren Texten Themen wie Empowerment, soziale Gerechtigkeit und Erinnerungskultur auf. Auch Persönliches, Selbstzweifel und Angst verarbeitet Evîn in ihren Texten.Beeinflusst von ihrer Schwester hörte Evîn in ihrer Kindheit und Jugend vor allem die Musik von D?Angelo, Erykah Badu, the Beatles oder Bob Dylan und fing früh an auch ihre eigenen Songs zu schreiben. 2014 zog sie nach Berlin, um sich auf ein Musikstudium vorzubereiten, welches sie ein Jahr später in Dresden anfing. Im Studium beschäftigte sie sich neben Jazz, R&B und Soul auch mit anatolischer und kurdischer Volksmusik und traf Karl Kindermann und Jako, zwei Produzenten und Musiker, mit denen sie bis heute ihren persönlichen Stil entwickelt.Um ihre Ideen festzuhalten nutzt sie neben ihrer Stimme Klavier, Gitarre und Computer. Dabei schöpft sie Inspiration unter anderem aus Texten und Gedichten von Maya Angelou und Orhan Pamuk, Tanz und Fashion. Mit ihrer Musik und ihren Visuals möchte Evîn Verbindungen schaffen, zwischen Kulturen, zwischen Stilrichtungen, zwischen Nah-Ost und West, zwischen live- und elektronischen Sounds und dem Publikum die Angst vor dem ?dazwischen-sein? nehmen.
