    Potentiel d'accumulation de biomasse des espèces d'arbres exotiques au Nigeria
    Dans le cadre d'une approche intégrée de l'analyse de la biomasse aérienne (ABA), des données d'inventaire forestier et des données de télédétection Landsat 8 ont été utilisées pour étudier l'accumulation de biomasse de Tectona grandis et de Gmelina arborea, ci-après dénommés respectivement teck et gmelina, dans la forêt d'Oluwa. Six (6) indices de végétation, dont le rapport simple (SR), l'indice de végétation amélioré (EVI), l'indice de végétation de différence normalisé (NDVI), l'indice de différence d'eau normalisé (NDWI), l'indice de végétation de surface foliaire spécifique (SLAVI) et l'indice de végétation de différence généralisé (GDVI) ont été calculés à partir des données Landsat 8. Le potentiel de stockage de biomasse/carbone du gmelina de 11 et 15 ans est de 136,21 t/ha et 184,59 t ha-1 respectivement, tandis que pour le teck de 15 et 20 ans, 277,11 t/ha et 183,98 t/ha ont été stockés respectivement. La relation entre la biomasse aérienne, les indices de végétation et les réponses des bandes spectrales a été modélisée par régression pas à pas. Deux modèles ont été générés incluant la réponse spectrale de la bande 8 (bande panchromatique) avec un R2 ajusté de 0,336, et la combinaison de la bande 7 et de la bande 8 (modèle 2) avec un R2 de 0,678 ont été obtenus.

El potencial de almacenamiento de biomasa/carbono de la melina de 11 y 15 años es de 136,21 t/ha y 184,59 t ha-1 respectivamente, mientras que para la teca de 15 y 20 años se almacenaron 277,11 t/ha y 183,98 t/ha respectivamente. La relación entre la biomasa aérea, los índices de vegetación y las respuestas de las bandas espectrales se modelaron mediante una regresión por pasos. Se generaron dos modelos que incluían la respuesta espectral de la banda 8 (banda pancromática) con un R2 ajustado de 0,336, y la combinación de la banda 7 y la banda 8 (modelo 2) con un R2 de 0,678.
