In Debussys »Fantaisie pour piano et orchestre« kommt es dabei zur Wiederbegegnung mit dem französischen Pianisten Pierre-Laurent Aimard, der die Musik des Impressionisten Debussy gegenüber der FAZ einmal folgendermaßen charakterisierte: »Das ist eine Musik, die zu einem kommt. Das ist keine Musik, die man generiert, die man macht. Es ist eine Musik für Poeten, die die Musik klingen lassen.« Die Musik Richard Wagners entfaltet ihre ganz eigene Klangfinesse und Imagination und besticht durch ihre enorme suggestive Kraft ? besonders eindrucksvoll ist dies jenseits des musikdramatischen Zusammenhangs in den Ouvertüren und Orchestermusiken seines Opus Summum zu erleben, des gewaltigen Opernzyklus´ »Der Ring des Nibelungen«.Konzertdauer: ca. 120 Minuten__________The originally planned presentation of excerpts from Claude Debussy´s »Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien« with the MDR Radio Choir and numerous vocal soloists must unfortunately be cancelled due to the pandemic and postponed to a later season.Alain Altinoglu, the French Music Director of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony with experience of Bayreuth, will now present symphonic excerpts from Richard Wagner´s »Ring« in addition to an exquisite concert work by his compatriot Debussy. Debussy´s »Fantaisie pour piano et orchestra« marks a reunion with the French pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard, who once characterized the music of the Impressionist Debussy in the FAZ as follows: »This is music that comes to you. It´s not music that you generate, that you make. It is a music for poets who make the music sound.« Richard Wagner´s music unfolds its very own tonal finesse and imagination and captivates with its enormous suggestive power ? this can be experienced particularly impressively beyond the music-dramatic context in the overtures and orchestral music of his Opus Summum, the enormous opera cycle »Der Ring des Nibelungen«.Concert duration: about 120 minutes- Shop: Konzertkasse
