On observe généralement que l'évaluation des compétences en anglais prend du temps, qu'elle est difficile à administrer et qu'il est difficile de maintenir des évaluations précises. Cette recherche examinera la pratique du test et de l'évaluation des compétences en anglais en soulignant les problèmes impliqués dans le test des compétences en anglais. Il a été observé qu'il existe de nombreux problèmes dans l'enseignement et l'évaluation des compétences orales au niveau secondaire au Pendjab. Il y a peu ou pas de pratique de test et d'évaluation des compétences orales en anglais. Cela est dû au fait que notre système d'examen et d'éducation est basé sur l'écriture. Les enseignants passent la plupart de leur temps à enseigner des compétences pratiques, c'est-à-dire la lecture et l'écriture, car leur objectif principal est de préparer les élèves à réussir leurs examens.
