And numerous other publications. He is known for his way with words, his passionate voice and his ability to connect with an audience. Bill Nork is one of the most respected guitar & mandolin players in Central Pennsylvania and professes to be one of the top 10,000 dobro players in the USA. On this recording he displays his versatility from ballads to blues and beyond on both mandolin & dobro. Mrs. Bobby is the rose between two thorns. Having learned to play the bass around the time her AARP membership arrived in the mail, Mrs. Bobby is an inspiration to anyone who has ever wished they could learn to play a musical instrument. The York County native brings her vast knowledge of roots music and a joy that is evident in her performance with the Robert Bobby Trio. Above all, she's Mrs. Bobby. The eleven songs on A Brief History of Time include six Robert Bobby originals, four classic cover songs that he has been performing throughout his career and a special one of a kind cover of Mitch Rosenberg's My Baby's Back. Mitch wrote this song when he was in high school back in the late 60's and Robert Bobby is thrilled to be the first to perform My Baby's Back on this CD.
