    Wanda Ivette Rivera nacio el 2 de Junio en la ciudad de Nueva York. Sus padres son Reinaldo y Milagros Rivera. Es la mayor de dos hermanos. Tiene una hermosa hija que lleva por nombre Damaris Ivette. Desde muy pequeña Wanda Ivette sentía un gran ardor por la música, quería ser cantante. Buscaba un objeto como micrófono ya fuera un cepillo del pelo, una vela, o la escoba y al frente del espejo se ponía a cantar e imitar los artistas de la televisión. También ponía a su hermano y sus primitos a cantar y a tocar instrumentos hecho por ellos y a la vez grabar canciones en una pequeña grabadora que tenia en aquel entonces. La música siempre estaba en su casa. Así paso su niñez y temprana adolescencia, siempre cantando y tocando. A la edad de 14 años a ella le gustaba ver programas cristianos de habla Ingles en la televisión. La música al Señor le apasionaba desde muy temprano en la adolescencia y un dia dijo en su corazón que quería cantar así. Pues la música al Señor la conmovía. En ese tiempo ella le gustaba colectar y leer los tratados que siervos del Señor les daban en las calles. También le gustaba escuchar cuando predicaban en los autobuses y trenes cuando iba hacia la escuela. Pasaron los años, pero Dios nunca se olvido lo que ella dijo en su corazón cuando era muy niña. No sabiendo que ya Dios estaba tocando su corazón, preparando el camino y que pronto llegaría a sus pies. Aunque Wanda Ivette no fue criada en un hogar cristiano, las cosas del mundo nunca le llamaron la atención. Ella nunca ha probado alcohol, drogas, ni bailes pero cuando llego a la Universidad, había un vació en su corazón. Ella decía entre si: 'Tiene que haber algo mayor que esto en la vida,' y a la edad de 19 años visito por primera vez una iglesia cristiana y recibió el amor del Señor en su vida y luego lo acepto como dueño y Señor de su corazón. Muchas luchas, lagrimas, obstáculos y pruebas se levantaron al inicio de esta producción musical. Pero ella siguió adelante. Pues reconocía que debía vencer los obstáculos para llegar hasta el final. Para el mes de Mayo del 2009 pudo realizar el proyecto de su primera grabación. Ella conoce que fue Dios quien la ayudo vencer y triunfar, pues había llegado el tiempo de Dios. 'Me Dijo Canta' es su primera producción musical y contiene 8 temas musicales. El tema del disco fue escrito por ella y expresa la gran experiencia directa que tuvo con Dios. El disco conlleva diversos géneros como adoración, bachata, bolero, balada, ranchera, merengue, y ballenato/cumbia. Es un disco variado. Wanda Ivette ha cantado en actividades de las iglesias y ha participado en varios conciertos y actividades con ministros muy conocidos de la música cristiana a través de los años. Pero para ella lo mas importante no ha sido esto, sino las grande victorias que Dios le ha dado a través de las pruebas y poder salir al otro lado aun mas fuerte y triunfante. Hoy en dia ella puede decir 'Ebenezer.' Su anhelo es poder darle al Señor toda su potencial al llamado que ha recibido del cántico para que las almas se acerquen al Dios Todopoderoso y que sus vidas sean transformadas a través de una alabanza.
