Summary Pam Grout's E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 30min
This is a summary of Pam Grout's E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality E-Squared could best be described as a lab manual with simple experiments to prove once and for all that reality is malleable, that consciousness trumps matter, and that you shape your life with your mind. Rather than take it on faith, you are invited to conduct nine 48-hour experiments to prove there really is a positive, loving, totally hip force in the universe. Yes, you read that right. It says prove. The experiments, each of which can be conducted with absolutely no money and very little time expenditure, demonstrate that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton's laws of motion. For years, you've been hoping and praying that spiritual principles are true. Now, you can know. E-Squared proves the following: 1. There is an invisible energy force or field of infinite possibilities. 2. You impact the field and draw from it according to your beliefs and expectations. 3. You, too, are a field of energy. 4. Whatever you focus on expands. 5. Your connection to the field provides accurate and unlimited guidance. 6. Your thoughts and consciousness impact matter. 7. Your thoughts and consciousness provide the scaffolding for your physical body. 8. You are connected to everything and everyone else in the universe. 9. The universe is limitless, abundant, and strangely accommodating. Available in a variety of formats, this summary is aimed for those who want to capture the gist of the book but don't have the current time to devour the full book. You get the main summary along with all of the benefits and lessons the actual book has to offer. This summary is not intended to be used without reference to the original book. ungekürzt. Cowboys, Lawmen, and Outlaws: The Myth of the American Psyche , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 226min
Cowboys, Lawmen, and Outlaws: The Myth of The American Psyche Preface In the 1950s, westerns were the most popular form of television drama. Saturday mornings were filled with black and white images of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, The Lone Ranger, and The Cisco Kid. In the evening you had the more adult westerns like Have Gun - Will Travel, Rawhide, and Wanted Dead or Alive. Sprinkled amongst these shows were programs purporting to be about real historic characters, people like Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson, Annie Oakley, and Wild Bill Hickok. Although Gunsmoke's Marshal Matt Dillon wasn't real, the Long Branch Saloon was. Of course writer John Meston's Matt Dillon was much closer to a real cowboy lawman than what was represented by James Arness. William Conrad's radio version was somehow more real, more colorful, and more dramatic than the whitewashed television version even though the stories were similar. Perhaps it's just a malleable memory but somehow radio always felt more real, more vivid, and more present than television. Television turned everything into pabulum; even fascinating gritty historical characters were turned into cardboard-cutouts designed for the front of cereal boxes featuring the soft mushy historical mess that lay inside. The difference between cowboys, lawmen, and outlaws was merely a cheap metal badge: most often these designations were interchangeable with men easily moving from marshal to villain and back with the deal of a card. When we think of the Old West, it seems like ancient history, but historically it was yesterday. Many of the characters of the post Civil War Old West lived well into the 20th century: Bat Masterson died in 1921 and Wyatt Earp didn't die until 1929. Josie Bassett, one of the Wild Bunch girls, managed to hang on until 1963 and she only died then because she got kicked in the head by a horse. History doesn't end wit ungekürzt. Language: English. Rise and Fall of the Obsidian Grotto : The Esfah Sagas, Book 1 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 555min
Elves. Dwarves. Blood oaths and dragons. There are far worse things crawling upon Esfah than goblins....Some, even swords and sorcery cannot defeat.A devious elder monster allies with the lava elves of the Obsidian Grotto. She promises to provide an elven general with arcane weapons to throw down their dwarven enemies, and also the support of a black magic wielding cult hidden within the Nhur-Gale Forest. General Shedakor assumes that any bargain with such a dark creature would extract a high cost...but can he afford to pay it?Meanwhile, on the far side of Esfah. An elven hero from the northern coasts embarks on a mission to protect his home from the goblins of Brackishomme swamp. But Davian Whisperwynd is prone to rash vows and the gods will not release the adventurer from a promise to lay down his sword: an oath that complicates things when he promises a beautiful enchanter that he will retrieve an item from the lair of the Death god himself.Neither knows it, but the gods of fate have interlinked their destinies. In the mid-1990s there was created one RPG to rule them all: D&D, of which Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, and many other books and gaming worlds were a part of. Its publisher, TSR, created another gaming world that won Game of the Year in 1995. That world was Esfah. In eons past, when time was young and creation malleable, the four powers of Nature — earth, air, fire, and water — the children of Nature, gods in their own rights, brought forth two races of beings to care for their fledgling world of Esfah, created by the all-father, Tarvenehl. One race, the Selumari or coral elves, was created to husband the fluid forces of air and water. The other race, the Vagha, a dwarvish race, embodied the stability of Earth and the tempering power of fire. Together, these two peoples worked to nurture their infant world into something glorious and beautiful...but then another god revealed hi ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Jeff Persson. Learn Languages & Learn French: 2 Books in 1! A Simple and Easy Guide for Beginners to Learn any Foreign Language & A Fast and Easy Guide for Beginners to Learn Conversational French , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 122min
2 Books in 1! Learn Any Language & Learn French Do you need to learn a language? This is the place to do it, no questions asked. This audiobook uses a combination of orthodox immersion methods in order to make you go in one end a complete newbie to a language and come out the other a fluent speaker. It won’t be any shortage of work on your part, but this audiobook is going to set you up with all the tools that it possibly can so that you can be a fantastic speaker of a second language in as short of a time as a few months. Through encouragement, motivation, rational observation, and careful breaking down of key concepts into malleable bite-sized chunks, this audiobook makes learning language easier than it’s ever been before. BOOK 2 Are you looking for the best way to learn French? Well, look no further. This audiobook is, simply put, the best on the market for learning French. Why do I say that? Because this audiobook does what language audiobooks should do - teach you the mechanics of the language, not a bunch of tourist trap phrases that you’ll forget the second you leave the country. If audiobooks don’t do that, then they make the critical mistake of going into far too much detail and managing to bore you half to death by virtue of the fact that they’ve spent hours going on about three different kinds of articles. I don’t do that either. What this audiobook does do, and does very well in fact, is set you up with the knowledge that you want and need of French in a very short time frame, so that you can blast through this audiobook and already feel like you’re set up for success. This audiobook isn’t a reference, nor is it a crash course on the French language; it’s both. You’ll listen to this audiobook and understand, then you’ll apply what you’ve learned (and inevitably look back at this audiobook down the line to rehash your memory), and you’ll grow even more as a French speaker. Don’t wast ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: john fiore. Audio sample: https://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/102659/bk_acx0_102659_sample.mp3. Digital audiobook in aax.- Shop: Audible

The Ideal Bride (eBook, ePUB)
New York Times bestselling author Stephanie Laurens has created some of romance's most unforgettable novels. Now she has created her most provocative love story—and amazing hero—to date. This is the book that dares to ask the question: Who is this man's ideal bride?Michael Anstruther-Wetherby is a rising member of Parliament—a man destined for power. Aristocratic, elegant, and effortlessly charming, he is just arrogant enough to capture the interest of the ladies of the ton. And with his connections to the wealthy and influential Cynster family—his sister is married to Devil Cynster, the Duke of St. Ives—his future appears assured. Except that Michael lacks the single most important element of success: a wife. Political pressure sends him searching for his ideal bride, a gently bred, malleable young lady, preferably one with a political background. Michael discovers such a paragon but finds a formidable obstacle in his path—the young lady's beautiful, strong-minded aunt—Caroline Sutcliffe. One of London's foremost diplomatic hostesses, Caro has style and status but, having lived through an unhappy political marriage, wants nothing of the sort for her niece, who has already lost her heart to another. So Caro and the younger woman hatch a plot—Caro will demonstrate why an inexperienced young lady is not the bride for Michael. She succeeds in convincing him that what he really needs is a lady of experience by his side. And the perfect candidate is right under his nose—Caro herself. Then it is Michael's turn to be persuasive, a task that requires every ounce of his seductive charm as he tempts and tantalizes Caro, seeking to convince her that becoming his bride will bring her all her heart desires . . . and more. But then a series of mysterious, and dangerous, accidents befall Caro—an assailant has stepped in with their own idea for Caro's future—one that could involve murder. Before Caro can become Michael's ideal bride, they must race to uncover the unknown's identity before all hope of what they long for, and wish for, is destroyed.- Shop: buecher

The Great Experiment (eBook, ePUB)
From one of our sharpest and most important political thinkers, a brilliant big-picture vision of the greatest challenge of our time-how to bridge the bitter divides within diverse democracies enough for them to remain stable and functional Looking around the world, it's easy to be pessimistic about the fate of democracy in multiethnic societies. The Right has long been the source of skepticism about the idea of power-sharing and equality between a country's dominant ethnic group and anyone else. And the Left, traditionally the source of universal humanist ideals, has grown more pessimistic of late too about the ability of different groups to truly integrate in harmony, celebrating their differences without essentializing them. The issue is a very hard one, and for good reason, Yascha Mounk argues: the project of multiethnic democracies in which all groups coexist on an equal basis is very new in historical terms. It is a great experiment. The history of humankind is a story of us versus them. Hobbes had it wrong: the state isn't needed to keep individuals from slaughtering each other; it's needed to keep groups from slaughtering each other. And yet, Mounk argues, group identity is both deeply rooted and quite malleable. He tells the story of two tribes in Southeastern Africa who hate each other in one country, where they compete for political power, while just across the border in a neighboring country they partner closely against a much larger array of more alien rivals. There's actually a lot of this around the world: he offers a brilliant tour across time and space of how groups change footing from conflict to cooperation, making the point that no community is beyond all hope of conciliation and unity. But groups have to come together as equals, on a level playing field, or else true integration is impossible. This remains the challenging task it has always been, and Mounk brings enormous reserves of expertise, wisdom and empathy to the work of showing us the paths to get there. The forces on all sides making cross-cultural contact difficult are seemingly everywhere on the rise; more bridges are being blown up than are being built. It's tempting for some to argue that all we can do is retreat and argue our respective corners. That way lies disaster, he argues passionately. There is a legitimate form of patriotism we can all embrace. Indeed, we must, for the failure of this great experiment in democracy is simply not an option. The Great Experiment is that rare book that offers both a profound understanding of the problem behind all of our other problems of collective action, and genuine hope for our human capacity to solve it.- Shop: buecher
