Unerhört abgefahren!Spectral Park wird sein selbstbetiteltes Debüt Ende Januar 2013 Über Mexican Summer veröffentlichen. Der Mann hinter Spectral Park nennt sich Luke Donovan und hat auf der Platte alles selbst eingespielt und produziert. Seine Songs klingen, als hätte er diese buchstäblich vom Papierkorb direkt in den Laptop gestopft. Der Multi-Instrumentalist aus Southampton kreiert daraus schräges Trillern, Intonationsschwankungen und jede Menge Loops entnommen der umfangreichen Musikgeschichte 60er Jahre Psychedelic. 44 Feinster Psychedelic-Rock aus Spanien ! 12''-Vinyl - limitiert auf 500 Stck.Schwarz (name taken randomly from a krautrock encyclopedia) started in 1997 as Alfonso Alfonso s solo project, releasing his first album, These Songs Mean Nothing , a year later. Soon the project became a full band effort. After releasing a second album, Hard Listening , the band consolidated as a trio with the addition of Juanma Martínez and César Verdú. In 2001 they sign to Astro Discos and release Heptágono , a collaborative effort with the Spanish band Manta Ray. The album, and the following mini-tour, were highly acclamed by the Spanish musical press. Six years, two albums and several tours later they sign to Acuarela Records and go to Blubox Studios in Germany to record Heavengazers . Their last album, Espíritus del desierto, yo os invoco , shows two novelties: the replacement of bass guitar for keyboards and (perhaps more important) the lyrics in their mother tongue. In their ten years plus career, Schwarz have taken part in several compilations both in their country and abroad. Also, they have played some of the better known festivals in Spain (Festival Internacional de Benicassim, Primavera Club, Barcelona Acció Musical, Tanned Tin) and they have toured Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland or Russia among other countries. The band has gained a good reputation as a live act by their mixture of rock, drones, energy and hipno-visuals. They like to categorize their music as contemporary psychedelia .- Shop: odax

Psychedelic-Soft-Rock-Schätze Anthology Recordings is pleased to present Ode To A Rainy Day: Archives 1972-1975, a collection of previously unreleased home recordings from Robert Lester Folsom. The 13 tracks in this collection capture the halcyon, wide-eyed experiments of Folsom who, after going halves in a reel-to-reel tape recorder with a friend, recorded all of this material over college summer breaks in barns, screened porches and bedrooms across Adel, Georgia. Folsom crafts a delicate form of folk-rock, with a knack for penning gorgeous ballads (See You Later I'm Gone, Can't See You), spellbinding instrumental explorations (Oblivion) and elements of dusty psychedelia (the farfisa-peppered Written In Your Hair and On And On). There are echoes of Neil Young (Southern Man was a favorite cover of Folsom's), Nick Drake and early Fairport Convention in Folsom's form and lyricism, that would later become more realized on his full-length Music And Dreams (1976). Perhaps just as precious as the songs revived in this collection is the youthful sense of excitement and experimentation that has been captured and preserved. TRACKS: 1. Ode to a Rainy Day 2.
