Isaac Levitan (1860 -1900) was a Russian artist from Jewish descent who developed the art of the "feeling landscape painting". His extremely powerful painting tradition is of above 1000 landscapes, including drawings pastels and watercolors. His artworks was a deep answer to the expressive magnetism of the native Russian countryside. Typical of Levitan’s painting is a calmed and almost sorrowful daydream amongst idyllic images of Nature mostly without of human attendance. Excellent instances of these individuality are paintings like The Vladimirka Road, Evening Bells, and Eternal Rest. Although his late landscapes demonstrated knowledge of Impressionist Movement, Levitan’s style was as rule silenced, and his approaches were more realistic and lyric than visual or scientific based.

As a college freshman business major suffering from a variety of anxiety-related maladies, Brian Leaf stumbled into an elective: Yoga. It was 1989. All his classmates were female. And men did not yet generally “cry, hug, or do yoga”. But yoga soothed and calmed Leaf as nothing else had. As his hilarious and wise tale shows, Leaf embarked on a quest for health and happiness - visiting yoga studios around the country and consulting Ayurvedic physicians, swamis, and even (accidentally) a prostitute. Twenty-one years later, he teaches yoga and meditation, and is the beloved founder of a holistic tutoring center that helps students whose ailments he once shared. ungekürzt. Language: English. Amazon best seller and sixth book published by new ForbesBooks imprint! Founder of five-time Time Inc. 5000 honoree discusses his philosophy on business, entrepreneurship, marketing, and life! No matter where your beginnings, you deserve to follow your dreams of a better life and create a legacy for future generations. Brandon Vallorani, accomplished entrepreneur and founder of Vallorani Estates, believes anyone can build upon humble beginnings and pursue the finer things in life. He recounts his own American Dream success story in his new book, The Wolves and the Mandolin: Celebrating Life's Privileges in a Harsh World. The wolves and the mandolin story has been passed down from generation to generation in my family. A great-uncle was stuck in a tree surrounded by wolves. He played his mandolin to pass the time, and the beautiful music calmed the wolves and my great-uncle made it away safely, says Vallorani. This tale reminds us that beauty can be found even in the midst of growling wolves and that even the fiercest wolves can be calmed. The Wolves and the Mandolin follows the Vallorani family's modest beginnings in Italy, shares legend-worthy stories of their first years in America, and culminates with Brandon's success as an entrepreneur. Vallorani provides his philosophies in business and management, and the path taken to create a quality brand of hand-curated luxury products, Vallorani Estates. The Wolves and the Mandolin also reveals: Vallorani's five tips for selling any product online; Why it's important for entrepreneurs and executives to take the time to enjoy life's privileges; an entrepreneur's guide to dealing with administrative wolves without draining money, time and happiness; looking beyond: how to move on and up when you've hit a ceiling; how to learn to celebrate life's privileges in a world of harsh wolves. ungekürzt.
