2018 Château Chasse Spleen MOULIS EN MÉDOC A.C.
Decanter: 92/100 Punkte  »Chasse Spleen continues as the modern, vibrant face of Moulis, with lovely violet edging to the colour. The oak seems higher here than in its peers, accompanied by strong aromatics of damson and vanilla bean. Some rosemary hints come in after a few minutes in the glass. It's good quality and made in the estate's signature, with the freshness helping to balance the oak flourish. Clear spicing runs through the finish. Drinking Window 2024 - 2036«  Falstaff: 92/100 Punkte »Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung.

    2010 Château Cos d'Estournel 2ème Grand Cru Classé Saint-Éstèphe A.C.
Robert M. Parker(Wine Advocate): 97+ Punkte The 2010 is a more structured, restrained, less flamboyant version of the 2009.A final blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Francand Petit Verdot that hit 14.5% natural alcohol, this wine (which representsonly 55% of the estate's production) is full-bodied, classic and built alongthe lines of the 2000 (although that wine was made before Reybier acquired theestate and upgraded quality significantly). This wine exhibits beautifully purenotes of creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur, pen ink, graphite and hints oftoast and vanillin. The wine is full and rich, and although aged in 80% newoak, the wood is a subtle background component. This beauty will take longer toround into shape than the dramatic and compelling 2009. Forget it for 5-8years, and drink it over the following three-plus decades. These are two terrific wines from Cosd'Estournel. Proprietor Michel Reybier will have to continue his great successover the next decade without his top lieutenant, Jean-Guillaume Prats, who hastaken another job, but the estate seems to be in superlative condition, and atthe very top of its game. Genussreife: 2018-2048 Weinwisser (René Gabriel): 19/20 Punkte 78 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 19 % Merlot, 2 % Cabernet Franc, 1 % Petit Verdot. Genussreife: 2020-2045 Wine Spectator(James Molesworth): 96-99 Punkte This offers a terrific panoply of dark tea, cocoa, savory herb and red currantconfiture aromas. Remarkably dense, with loads of strapping dark fruit and tarin reserve. There's massive structure, yet this is rounded and so, so long. Ahuge wine in the making. This is going to compete with the elite of thevintage. A truly superb effort. Contains 1 percent Petit Verdot, for first timesince 2005. Decanter (StevenSpurrier): 18/20 Punkte Exotic tobacco leaf nose, superb ripe fruit and a violetty lift, morecontrolled and more classic than 2009, a great wine. Genussreife: 2018-2040
