How to Deal with Crazy People: The Ultimate Survival Guide on How to Deal with the Psychopath, Sociopath, Narcissist and Other Disturbed People , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 215min
We've all seen them. The people who walk to the beat of a different drummer. We've shook our heads and wondered just what they were thinking and why they do what they are doing. We've puzzled over their behaviors, questioned them and in some cases asked them to stop an annoying behavior but they quickly fall right back into the same patterns. It's great when we can watch from afar and not have to deal with these unusual people or we can just close up shop and walk the other way, but unfortunately, these people are a part of our world and cannot be avoided. These crazy people could be in our immediate families or at work. We encounter them at school and at the store, no matter where we go we cannot avoid their crazy behaviors, odd views and somewhat eccentric behaviors. In his book entitled How To Deal With Crazy People author James Wilcox examines in great detail the different types of crazy people that you may encounter in your life and how to deal with them if they cross your path. This list of crazy people includes the following: The Psychopath The Sociopath The Narcissist The people who suffer from: Bipolar disorder Multiple personality disorder Neuroses Hypochondria Post-traumatic stress disorder Avoidant personality disorder Borderline personality disorder Schizotypal personality disorder Passive aggressive behavior Mild autism Depression ADHD Obsessive compulsive disorder Eating disorders And many other disturbances! ungekürzt. Crush OCPD: Help for Couples Hindered by Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder: Transcend Mediocrity, Book 92 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 25min
Many of my readers and listeners write to me asking how to better help their spouse or partner who has OCPD. After writing my book on OCPD - 35 Underlying Causes of OCPD, I jumped directly into researching everything that I could in order to help these couples to find a way to grow together. I knew some of the steps that helped OCPD couples because of my own experiences in growing and learning with my OCPD/Aspie spouse, but I wanted to find a much more "big picture" way to approach and "cure" or lessen OCPD tendencies. While doing my research, I stumbled across information on different types of monkeys and apes which explained the various types of brains and levels of empathy, emotional maturity, and social skills that are evident in society today. There are three types of great apes that are said to relate to the different types of personality disorders that are evident if you look at the human race and normal human behaviors. The concept is that the Bonobo apes represent the humans who have traits and tendencies typical of avoidant personality disorder and dependent personality disorder. The chimpanzees represent antisocial personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, and histrionic personality disorders. The last subset of apes that fell on the chart are the orangutans, which are largely representative of paranoid, schizoid, and schizotypal personality disorders. The purpose of looking at this link between human and apes is that it is possible that the differences in human empathy, social skills, and personality are not so much "abnormal" as they are simply slightly more primitive and animalistic in nature.... Essentially, these personality traits that we are classifying as "abnormal" are actually somewhat normal range. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: D Gaunt. Asperger Syndrome, Schizoid Personality Disorder, and OCPD: Relationship Difficulties Between Typical and Atypical Thinkers: Transcend Mediocrity, Book 80 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 25min
There are many people whose brains are considered to be "wired" differently. They think in different patterns and have different wants and needs from other people who are considered to have neurotypical brain thoughts and patterns. The different "brain wiring" has been classified as autistic spectrum disorder, schizotypal and schizoid disorders, and Asperger's syndrome. This audiobook seeks to identify how people with schizoid personality disorder and Asperger's syndrome may process or think differently from others. The concepts can be also used and considered in those who have personality disorders such as OCPD. It seeks to bridge the gap between the behaviors that are different between neurotypicals and those on the spectrums. It seeks to draw out the patterns and to define the reasons that both sides struggle to understand and meet each other's needs. I hope that this book will help those from both thinking patterns to better understand one another. I am writing this book as a neurotypical wife of a man on the spectrum and a mother of children with special needs. As an author, wellness coach, and mentor, I have learned through many experiences how to try to see the world through many other perspectives. I have tried to write this book in a way that is friendly and direct for those who are on the spectrum, but please feel free to write to me at FlurriesOfSnow@gmail.com in order to clarify something if it is not written in a way that you are able to understand. The best thing that we can all do is seek to better understand each other if we are able to. It provides for improved relationships overall. The first thing that I want to mention is that while this book is for schizoids, OCPDers, and those on the autism spectrum (Asperger's), I realize that there are minor differences in how schizoids think and process things as compared to how those with Asperger's may think. ungekürzt. Cassandra Syndrome - 132 Signs and Symptoms: The Hidden Suffering of Women Who Marry Aspies, Schizoids, Narcissists and OCPD Men , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 30min
Many listeners email me each day. They typically have problems with the men in their lives. The truth that most of them don't realize is that their emotionally unavailable man or narcissistic man has an undiagnosed syndrome, complex, or disorder. Men often don't seek diagnoses for these issues that have been an ingrained part of their personality since they were born. They want acceptance and a sense of belonging from their partners, and they are often as unable to get these things from his partner as she is unable to get emotional validation from him. The disorders and complexes that these men have often range from schizotypal disorder to schizophrenia to Asperger's Syndrome to Autism Spectrum Disorder. The traits, signs, and symptoms of these disorders are often pervasive and elusive. No single set of traits can instantly diagnose someone who is on these spectrums. Their brains and their learning style are different, thus causing their partners great grief in trying to deal with them. In interacting with these men, the women often suffer significant mental decline themselves. They are often put through verbal and emotional abuse. Their emotional needs are often not met by their partners. They fall into a depression, or they suffer from unrelenting anxiety about the relationship. They are never sure whether the relationship will thrive or fail. They are blamed by their family, partners, friends, and coworkers for the failure of the relationship. Everyone else often seems completely clueless as to why they are complaining. After all, their spouse generally seems to be responsible and hardworking. Both partners are at a loss as to how to connect, bond, and interact with one another appropriately. If they do not know the source of their angst, they will continue to hurt each other, bicker, and argue to the point of tearing each other apart. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Tara Tyler.
